The Tom Caxton Pilsner kit needs sugar, beer enhancer or liquid malt extract added to get to the desired ABV.
So on this kit, I decided to make it a little more Bavarian by using some Munich Liquid Malt Extract and then swapping out the yeast for a Mangrove Jacks Bohemian Lager yeast.

Munich Malt Extract - https://www.brewbitz.com/products/mun...
Mangrove Jacks Bohemian Lager Yeast - https://www.brewbitz.com/products/boh...
A simple kit to make, just pour the contents of both tins into a fermenter, top ip to 23 litres and add the yeast.
Now the Bohemian Lager yeast likes a fermenting temperature of between 10-15°C. If you cant get it this low, then use saflager yeast - https://www.brewbitz.com/products/fer...
Then ferment and then bottle.
It’s as easy as that
You can use just sugar, beer enhancer or any of the liquid malt extracts we sell to change the finished style.
Check out our range of malt extracts you can add to beer kits to enhance and create your own style - https://www.brewbitz.com/collections/...
