Off The Boards - NHL Power Rankings Week 1 - Are The Florida Panthers Really That Good This Year?

What happens when a die hard Leafs fan and a lifelong Habs supporter start a podcast? You get Off the Boards. Off the Boards is your weekly deep dive into the world of hockey, from the bright lights of the NHL to the rising stars of the Junior leagues and the international stage of the Olympics. Hosted by Josh G. (a long suffering Maple Leafs fan) and Ryan W. (a die hard Canadiens fan), the show turns one of the sport's greatest rivalries into the ultimate hockey debate. If it’s happening on the ice and it’s worth talking about, we’re covering it. Today the boys are talking about their Week 1 NHL Power Rankings! Who do you agree with? Is there a team both Josh and Ryan got wrong? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Join the conversation: https://linktr.ee/OffTheBoards Twitter: https://x.com/OTBHockeyPod Instagram:   / offtheboardsjr   Tiktok:   / offtheboardsjr   Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/40UWEvE... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Time Stamps - 0:00 Week 1 NHL Power Rankings 0:09 The Top 3: Carolina, Colorado & Dallas 1:05 Josh & Ryan's Lists Start to Differ 1:49 The Minnesota Wild Debate 2:20 Why Ryan Has Florida So Low 4:06 The Case for Florida 5:23 Are the Panthers Being Underrated? 6:17 Tampa Bay Lightning 6:50 Where Are the Vegas Golden Knights? 8:16 Buffalo Sabres 9:20 David Pastrnak Named Bruins Captain 9:51 San Jose Sharks 11:18 Washington Capitals 12:43 How Good Can Ovechkin Be? 14:02 Washington vs. Edmonton 14:30 Power Rankings Recap
