*The read my thoughts and explanations turn on captions.* I'm testing the DJI Avata 360's panoramic video quality in the low-light areas of our former socks factory, starting with 8K at 60FPS. This isn't about producing a cinematic FPV film. I'm interested in how clean the image looks, how much detail survives in darker areas, and whether distortion becomes noticeable when looking around during flight. I'm also continuing my slow, precise flying practice with DJI Goggles 3 and RC Motion 3. How to watch this video *For the best comparison, I recommend watching on a desktop or laptop with a reasonably large screen, rather than a smartphone.* 1. Open the video on YouTube. 2. Click the *Settings ⚙️* icon and select **Quality**. 3. Select *4320p60 (8K)* if available. 4. Make sure your internet connection is fast enough for smooth 8K playback. 5. While the video is playing, *click and drag inside the video* to look around the panoramic scene. Try keeping your view pointed toward a particular wall, doorway, or darker area while the drone continues moving. This lets you inspect the image independently of the drone's flight direction. Pay particular attention to shadow detail, image noise, textures, and distortion near objects. Recording settings Drone: DJI Avata 360 Recording: 8K / 60FPS panoramic video ISO: 100 Shutter speed: 1/240 Color profile: D-Log M Saturation adjustment: +50 Export: DJI Studio, 160 Mbps Flight controls: DJI Goggles 3 and RC Motion 3 The saturation adjustment was intended to bring the colors closer to how I remember seeing them inside the factory. This is a practical comparison, not a laboratory test. *Compare this recording with my 8K/30FPS flight through the same rooms.* I'm interested in what differences you can actually see when viewing both at their highest available quality.
