An €80k Bid For Her Parrot: Diane's Alicante Auction Gamble

A Scottish buyer, a ticking auction clock, and a parrot named Foster. How far would you go for the perfect perch? In Alicante, Manuel lines up a bank repossession that could be a steal—if Diane can outbid the competition without seeing the home first. With Foster’s cage, climbing frame, and terrace needs dictating the layout, every square metre matters. Will aircon for a Scotland-born African Grey be a dealbreaker, or the clincher? Meanwhile in Almeria, Sharon, Steve and Sean juggle savvy travelers Andy and Dee: a compact coastal pad, a sprawling rural 4-bed with a plunge pool, and the reality of hills, heat and isolation. One viewing wins hearts, another raises budgets, but only one decision sticks. From rooftop solariums to sealed bids against the post, this episode is a race to match lifestyle with location. Does an €80,000 offer land the dream—bird included? Watch to see which property soars and which plans get clipped.
