A CSX Rail Train, CSX Light Engines, NS Stacks Meet a Freight and other Random Trains

We start this video with a CSX rail train approaching at track speed with an older GE in YN2 scheme. We follow it down to Howell wye where we see two CSX units sitting at the signal. We watch the rail train head round the bend and disappear. Once that's clear the light CSX units cross over to track 2 and head into the CSX wye and stop. Ahead of them is coming the CSX freight with the EMD rebuild we saw backing up earlier to pick up the rear of their train. Now they're heading back the way they originally came from, heading north towards Pine street. And then along comes yet another NS stack moving slowly off the Greenville line. And is immediately met by a fast moving southbound NS freight. We have to swap batteries and fix some technical issues so we watch most of this train on the ground. Two rail carrying cars are in the mix which is nice. We resolve the technical issues but it's getting late so time to head home. But wait there's more! We still have 20 minutes or more of video that was left over from last week! Sometimes we get more video that we can post in a week. Not going to throw that away now are we? The first train is a westbound NS auto rack in usual 1x1 formation. A CSX combo train from last week's video had stopped at Howell wye so the train could be broken in half so the stacks could continue on while the freight on the rear was left behind. We see the crew break the train and attach the rear end device. On the CSX wye we hear a freight approaching. We watch as the front of the CSX stack train pulls away in the opposite direction. Looks like a lot of sand on the other train, could be a local? Down at Jefferson street we see two NS trains sitting, one possibly an empty BNSF coal train. We go away for a couple minutes to see what's over at Inman yard and former Tilford yard but nothing interesting there so when we return we catch another CSX stack heading north. Unfortunately we don't get back in time to see the power. And as we are finally getting ready to leave along comes another westbound NS auto rack in 1x1 formation. We film that with our iPhone since we're out of drone batteries. And of course behind it is another NS stack coming off the Greenvile to end the assortment of trains for the day.
