He Kept Body Parts in His Family Home | Hong Kong’s Jars Murderer

His passengers saw a taxi driver. His family saw a son coming home from work. Neither knew what Lam Kor-wan was keeping inside their apartment. In 1982, Lam killed four women in Hong Kong. This documentary follows the victims, the investigation, the body parts he concealed in the family home, and the photographs that eventually led police to him. It also examines the case behind the nickname “the Jars Murderer.” The film distinguishes the notorious nickname from the containers described in the reporting; it does not present invented glass-jar imagery as real evidence.
