Today marks a new chapter in our house construction journey. We are having a ceiling board yeiiiii , the first ever in our home !After several misunderstandings, challenges, and mistakes along the way, I have decided to take over the supervision of the construction from the engineer to ensure that everything is done properly. Unfortunately, because this is a relatively small house, the project was not given the attention it deserved, and less experienced workers were assigned to the site, resulting in several construction mistakes. From now on, I will be taking a more hands-on approach, making sure that the right people are on site and that every stage of the construction is handled with the care and professionalism it deserves. We want to get things right, even if it means taking a little more time. As we begin this new chapter, we are also enjoying a delicious turkey lunch prepared the traditional African village way. 🦃🍲 Thank you for being part of this journey.
