283. HME 53rd Birthday Weekend | Saturday Inter-Club Run | Video 2

Video 283 ~ Hornsby Model Engineers celebrated its 53rd Birthday Weekend with a Saturday Inter-Club Run at the Galston Valley Railway. Video 2 continues the action from Video 1, with most of this footage recorded after lunch as the afternoon running got underway. There was a great variety of locomotives and trains out on the railway, including some impressive steam locomotives operated by our visiting club members. A highlight was seeing the steam locomotives working with some nice long mixed goods trains, giving plenty of opportunities to capture the trains making their way around the Galston Valley Railway. The Inter-Club Run brought together members and visitors with a wide variety of locomotives, rolling stock and operating styles, making for a busy and enjoyable afternoon of miniature railway running. This video was edited and produced using Final Cut Pro, continuing the re-edit of the Saturday footage and allowing longer sequences of the trains to be shown as they travelled around the railway. If you have arrived at Video 2 first, make sure you also watch Video 1 for the earlier part of Saturday's Inter-Club Run. Thanks to everyone who visited, brought locomotives and rolling stock, helped operate the railway, or contributed behind the scenes to HME's 53rd Birthday Weekend.
