Beginning at Bow Brickhill Station, this 9.7-mile walk unfolds through a rich mosaic of woodlands, heathland, and parkland. The route starts by meandering through Back Wood, then emerges into the quaint village charm of Little Brickhill, before passing through the beautiful Bluebell woodland of Duncombe Wood. Rammamere Heath follows, its open expanses starkly contrasting the enclosing woodland, then onwards through Stockgrove Country Park and Rushmere Country Park, where towering trees and meandering trails encourage deeper exploration, occasionally revealing sculptures hidden among the foliage. As the miles continue, Heath Wood offers a secluded path into Linslade, where the Grand Union Canal adds a final flourish to the walk, before reaching the endpoint at Leighton Buzzard Station. This walk presents a delightful tapestry of environments, alternating between dense woodland, breezy heathland, and peaceful parklands, each step revealing a fresh layer of natural wonder.
