Welcome to the Lavender Ledger community. 🕯️📖✨ Track 23: "B3" This is my spin on a modern day "Alice in Wonderland" type character, I hope you enjoy it! What happens when an elevator takes you to a floor that shouldn't exist? "B3" follows a woman who descends beneath the ground floor and enters an elegant, impossible world of broken clocks, shifting proportions, beautiful strangers, and a mysterious woman in red who seems to know far more about her than she should. What begins as a strange encounter slowly becomes a question of memory, identity, and whether she has truly been there before. Was B3 real, a dream, a hallucination... or something much harder to explain? 💬 Let's talk in the comments: Would you have stepped out of the elevator when the doors opened? And what do you think the final message really means? 👇 Please hit the LIKE button and SUBSCRIBE to Lavender Ledger for more original songs, strange stories, memories, mysteries, and musical chapters. 📩 Business Inquiries & Collaborations: LavendarLedger@yahoo.com 🎵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: "Written and conceptualized by me, with musical arrangements brought to life through a combination of traditional digital editing and synthetic generation tools."The visual concept and subtle effects were completed using AI-assisted creative tools. LYRICS Midnight lobby, nowhere left to go Pressed the button, watched the numbers glow Ground floor passed, then one, then two The little screen showed something new B3 blinking underneath Too far down for concrete underneath Doors slid open, soft and slow And everybody looked like they already knew Someone smiled and said, “You’re late” I asked them why, they said, “For fate” Then a woman at the desk looked through me And called me by a name that wasn’t mine Down on B3 Nothing stays the size it seems Every clock disagrees Everybody talks like they remember me Down on B3 Truth wears perfume, lies wear silk I keep asking who I am They keep telling me I’ve been here before Crystal glasses, candlelight Black-tie strangers dressed just right Soft gold room, a perfect view Everyone was waiting for a cue A silver tray came passing through She said, “You’ll never fit unless you do” One small taste, the ceiling climbed My hands looked small, the room grew wide Then another glass appeared “Drink this one if you’d rather disappear” Now the tables barely reached my knees And no one seemed surprised but me They changed their chairs when music stopped No one sat where someone else had talked One man checked a watch with no hands And whispered, “We are almost late again” Down on B3 Nothing stays the size it seems Every clock disagrees Everybody talks like they remember me Down on B3 Truth wears perfume, lies wear silk I keep asking who I am They keep telling me I’ve been here before Then she entered without making a sound And every conversation turned around Red on her lips, diamonds at her throat She never raised her voice, but everybody froze She said, “Some people fit Some people learn Some people leave And some return” I said, “I don’t belong down here” She smiled like she'd heard it all before “Belonging is a word you use When you’re afraid to know what you are” The walls leaned in The lights went white I heard my own voice somewhere behind me say “Don’t let her tell you your name” Down on B3 Now the room is closing over me Every mirror disagrees Every face is someone I could be Down on B3 I don’t know what I drank or dreamed I ran toward the elevator While they raised their glasses watching me Doors shut Lights flashed B3 vanished from the glass I heard her laughing far below Then nothing I woke beside the elevator On the lobby floor A guard said, “Ma’am, you fainted You never left this floor” The numbers overhead were normal No B3 anywhere Then I felt something in my pocket A folded cocktail napkin Heavy paper Perfume Red ink I opened it “You’re still wearing the wrong name.”
