URI International Day of Peace 2026 Community Call: Building Peace Across Generations

In celebration of the International Day of Peace 2026, United Religions Initiative (URI) brought together young peacebuilders, community leaders, URI members, Trustees, staff, partners, and friends from across our global network for a Youth & Intergenerational Dialogue: Building Peace Across Generations. Guided by this year's theme, "Invest in Peace: For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day," participants shared their perspectives, learned from one another, and celebrated the peacebuilding work happening in communities around the world. The conversation showed that peace is built when every generation has a voice at the table: young people bringing fresh energy and ideas, and elders offering wisdom and experience. Thank you to everyone who joined us live and added their voice to the conversation. If you missed it, we invite you to watch the full recording and carry the spirit of this dialogue into your own community.
