In this video, we're making: 🥣 Mamaw's 3-Ingredient Buttermilk Biscuits Just self-rising flour, buttermilk, and shortening. No mixer. No measuring cups. Just years of knowing exactly what biscuit dough is supposed to feel like. 🍲 Homemade Chicken & Dumplings Chicken, homemade dumpling dough, a little milk, salt and pepper. That's about it. Mamaw pinches the dumplings by hand and drops them straight into the boiling broth, the same way our family has been eating them for years. 🍰 Old-Fashioned Buttermilk Pound Cake Pulled from a cookbook so old the cover disappeared years ago. Mamaw has made this cake for decades, and there's usually one sitting somewhere in her kitchen or tucked away in the freezer. These aren't fancy recipes. They're simple Southern comfort food, made the old-fashioned way by someone who doesn't need Google, TikTok, or a recipe card to tell her what to do.
