On yet another miserable winter day in the northeast, a family of six has called upon our great charter operation to fly them from their home near White Plains, NY (KHPN) to Piseco (K09). To make the trip, we've scheduled our brand-new King Air 350. Unfortunately, things don't quite go to plan, as a grave planning flaw is discovered by the crew during the flight while checking their landing performance. This results in the aircraft being diverted to the Fulton County Airport in Johnstown, NY (NY0), where deteriorating weather conditions results in the crew being unable to see the runway, leading to a missed approach. The crew will now attempt a landing at the nearby Albany International (KALB), where a missed approach could result in a critical low-fuel situation.
