God's presence in the storm is greater than the storm itself.

Life in this world, full of imperfect, fallen people is “stormy” for all. Jesus made it clear to His disciples that they were not exempt and will experience trouble. They did, both when He was physically with them, and afterwards. An example was when they experienced a life-threatening physical storm and they were understandably frightened. They forgot Jesus’s promise, presence and power. They were not only saved when Jesus calmed the storm, but they became better believers. We will also thrive when we focus on the fact that Jesus is with us in the storm.
