#XWing #FlyWing #FPV #RCPlane #VTOL #djifpv Took "The Wraith" out to the Las Cruces flying field for their AMA Celebration Day, and this time the training wheels are off. I removed the nanny altitude limiter so we could actually see what this bird can do down low—despite the constant "Low Altitude!" warnings screaming in my ear. Sharing the airspace with a student pilot trainer, a gasser, and a ducted fan jet, we put the X-Wing through its paces across cruise, stabilized, and acro modes: • High-speed passes & wide bank testing • Testing the acro rolls and inverted flight • Low-level deck cruising (buzzing down under 10 meters) • Dealing with canopy glare and desert wind • And yes... pulling off a butter-smooth VTOL hand-catch finish! Still amazed at the flight time—over 18+ minutes in the air and touched down with plenty of juice to spare. If you're into FPV, drones, scale VTOL aircraft, or just watching an old pilot push his luck without crashing an expensive toy, hit like and subscribe. More flights, builds, and stories on the way!
