Propane Forklift Fix… And Another Future Headache

Well I learned something today… apparently a propane forklift has a propane filter. Who knew? I always thought propane was clean enough to drink straight from the tank. Turns out that little filter was plugged tighter than my arteries after Thanksgiving dinner, and the forklift wasn’t getting enough fuel to do a dang thing. In this video this old geezer changes the propane filter, does some overdue maintenance, and tries to wake this tired forklift back up. It runs better, but it’s still weaker than me trying to get out of a recliner after a nap. So the underpowered problem is gonna be another future headache… I mean project. Come along while I wrench on old equipment, grumble about engineers, and learn that even “clean” propane can still gum things up.
