66歳、あと3年で70歳。定年後の2年間を無駄にした男の末路｜66, Three Years Until 70: Did I Waste My Retirement?

あと3年ちょっとで、僕は70歳になります。 In just over three years, I will turn 70. 会社を辞めて、もうすぐ2年。 It has been almost two years since I left my job. 定年前に夢見ていた旅行、釣り、キャンプ。 僕は、そのほとんどを実現できていません。 I dreamed of traveling, fishing, and camping after retirement. But I have hardly done any of them. 何もしていないはずなのに、なぜか毎日が忙しい。 そして気がつけば、また一日、また一年と時間だけが過ぎていました。 I feel like I have done nothing, yet somehow I am busy every day. Before I know it, another day and another year have passed. 先日、肺炎と強い腰痛を経験し、元気に動ける時間は永遠ではないと、ようやく気づきました。 After suffering from pneumonia and severe back pain, I finally realized that the time when I can stay active and healthy will not last forever. この2年間の健康な時間を、僕は無駄にしてしまったのでしょうか。 Did I waste two healthy years of my retirement? でも、振り返ってみると、娘と過ごした時間がありました。 ニャンニャンとアーニャとの毎日がありました。 そして、YouTubeを通して皆さんと出会うことができました。 But when I look back, I spent precious time with my daughter. I shared my daily life with Nyan Nyan and Anya. And through YouTube, I was able to meet all of you. 夢に描いた人生は始まらなかった。 でも、想像していなかった別の人生が、いつの間にか始まっていました。 The life I dreamed of did not begin. But another life I never imagined had begun before I even realized it. 70歳まで、あと3年ちょっと。 そろそろ、夢を「いつか」から「予定」に変えようと思います。 I have just over three years until I turn 70.
