The main square, empty at this hour, felt twice as large, and the surrounding buildings finally appeared in full, without visual noise. Side streets revealed everyday Trier — faded facades, old doors, and small details of local life that are usually hidden behind the tourist flow. I also passed by the Cathedral of Trier (Trierer Dom) and the Liebfrauenkirche, both glowing in soft morning light. Even the Roman baths and the old market fountain looked different — calmer, more intimate, almost cinematic.
