Letterlocking: Double Helix: The Future of Fashion in 8 folds USA (2026)(UH6382/LUV333) Invitation design for Helix Commons launch party on April 17th, 2026. Original and model located in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Libraries (MIT), Unlocking History Research Group archive, MC0760, Box 55. Co-founded by Unlocking History Research Group Member, Mica Caine, Helix Commons is a hyperlocal fashion resale marketplace that reimagines clothing as dignified living artifacts, preserving the human stories of clothing. Jana Dambrogio created the Double Helix design for the Helix Commons’ launch at Yale University on April 17th, 2026. Attendees untucked their shirt-shaped letterpackets to navigate the launch flea market by following the scavenger hunt instructions enclosed inside. Jana layered the Helix logo to create this unique design that reveals Helix’ mascot “Lixxy”. Produced, directed, and demonstrated by Jana Dambrogio.
