What if you never die? (POV)

A truck hits you at 90 km/h and you stand up without a scratch. That's the night you learn you can't die. At first it feels like a superpower. Then your friends get old, your family is buried one by one, and you keep going. Cities rise and fall, the ice comes back, new creatures take over the Earth, the oceans boil away and the Sun swallows the planet. You drift through space while the stars go out one by one, until even the last black hole is gone and there is nothing left but you. Then, after an eternity, a light appears, and someone is waiting there. The counter in the corner is the year and your age the whole way. A lot of the future in this video is real science. In about 50,000 years Earth would normally slide into another ice age. In 200 to 250 million years the continents are expected to crash together into one giant supercontinent. In about a billion years the Sun will be bright enough to boil the oceans away. In about 5 billion years it swells into a red giant that may swallow the Earth. New stars stop forming after around 100 trillion years, and the biggest black holes slowly evaporate by about 10¹⁰⁰ years, leaving the universe dark and cold. Some of it is not real. The accident, the future city, the fall of civilisation in the year 3,200 and the creatures that worship you are made up. A human body couldn't survive any of this, there would be no sound in space, and the dates are rounded and squeezed together so you can feel time pass.
