Repairing Busted Wood Wings

Join us as Brent describes how he repaired two wood wings from a wrecked experimental aircraft called a Cubby. Sometimes your luck runs out and your plane runs off the runway, hits a ditch or a sign or a shed - and the aircraft flips over. The prop strikes the ground. The top side of the wings crunch on the ground. A wing spar cracks and the rudder is destroyed. Most of the time it's not life-threatening (Thank God!) - but it is embarrassing. We understand. We fix this kind of damage often enough. These repairs can add up, especially if you need an engine overhaul... so Insurance is a good idea.
