Keep Going

‪@Ljósvakinn‬ Texti: Bárður Árni Gunnarsson (2026) Lag: Bárður Árni Gunnarsson (samið með aðstoð gervigreindar) (Dedicated to a friend fighting sever cancer) Brave, you take the first step, even on your own, feeling so alone, but there’s fire in your chest. You've already come so far, so, give it your best. One more mile, one more try. Lift your eyes towards the sky. [Chorus] Keep going, keep going, keep going, because life is flowing. Keep going because your dreams are waiting. You still have a story to write, and it will be a delight, Keep going, keep going, keep going, because it is a brand-new day and you have something to say. When every door is closed, gone is your hope, and you cannot cope, there still is a bright light at end of the tunnel, you will be alright. Every scar has meaning in process of the cleaning. [Chorus] Keep going, keep going, keep going, because life is flowing. Keep going because your dreams are waiting. You still have a story to write, and it will be a delight, Keep going, keep going, keep going, because it is a brand-new day and you have something to say. When the road seems to rough, the night feels to long, and gone is your song, a wiser part of you, will whisper in your soul, words divine and true: The world is made for you, and you are becoming new. [Chorus] Keep going, keep going, keep going, because life is flowing. Keep going because your dreams are waiting. You still have a story to write, and it will be a delight, Keep going, keep going, keep going, because it is a brand-new day and you have something to say.
