How old it too old for malt?

Join Lady Fermenter as she attempts to brew a Triple IPA beer This time we are testing several things... 2.5 year old Briess Pre-ground brewers malt (will it still make good beer?) Red X malt (what color will I get with over 26% of the grain bill?) and how will 6 month old beer yeast perform? Plus we are still using that unconventional method to pick a hop combination before we brew our homebrew.
