Welcome back to Play Time in the Craft Room! This month I’m going back to basics and spending a little more time with supplies I already have in my craft room. For today’s project, I pulled out the Spellbinders March 2025 Large Die of the Month and decided it was time to give these dies some more love. Instead of starting from scratch, I’m also shopping another part of my stash—colorful backgrounds I previously made on photo paper with Dylusions sprays. I’m cutting those backgrounds apart to create bright florals, leaves, accessories, and maybe even a critter or two, then pairing everything with a much quieter neutral background so the die cuts can be the stars of the show. I’m starting with the florals, experimenting with the other pieces in the set, and letting the project tell me whether it wants to become a card, a journal piece, a tag, or something else entirely. No pressure to use every die—this is simply about rediscovering what I already own and seeing it with fresh eyes. Grab something from your own stash that hasn’t had enough play time and come create with me! Supply List • Spellbinders – March 2025 Large Die of the Month: Family & Friends Vignettes • Previously made photo-paper background panels • Dylusions Ink Sprays – assorted colors used on the handmade background panels • Neutral cardstock – warm ivory, pale gray, light kraft and/or black • Optional metallic gold cardstock for the arch/frame and small accents • Die-cutting machine and cutting plates • Paper trimmer and scissors • Liquid adhesive and/or other preferred cardmaking adhesive • Foam adhesive, optional • Sentiments from stash, as needed • Card bases, journal pages, tags, or other project bases depending on what is created
