The Enduring Mystery of the Ghost Blimp

A U.S. Navy K-Class blimp took off from Treasure Island on anti-submarine patrol with two men on board. Five hours later, it made an unscheduled landing in Daly City. There was no one on board. On Saturday April 26, 2025, local journalist and author John J. Geoghegan recounted this mystery story from 1942, using rarely seen photographs and first person accounts.
