FLIGHT RATING:
Realism: 6/10 South Pacific's flight today was not the most realistic I have seen, but it wasn't bad. I would like to comment that Prague was very inaccurate which really hindered the realism score as its runway numbers and the terminals were totally different. However, I do commend their staff members' great roleplay and announcements during the flight.
Airport: 3.5/6 Mark Neris was an airport that I enjoyed more than South Pacific's other airports. Firstly, the design of the airport was realistic to a smaller airport and I found that the concourse looked as if it could be a real airport concourse. However, this score was hindered by Prague. Prague's runway numbers were inaccurate and the terminals and taxiway layout was completely inaccurate. Prague was practically a different airport altogether.
Seat: 3/6 My business class seat was pretty average. I noticed that on South Pacific's regional aircraft, such as their 737 MAX-8s, their business class seats could pass for first class seats. They are very functional and look great. However, although I did have a number of functions on my business class seat, the actual seat itself looked as if it belonged on smaller regional jets, like an Embraer E175. I do think that they should switch their business class seats between the two aircraft.
IFE: 6/6 South Pacific's main pinpoint of their product is definitely their IFE system. It is very functional while also being sleek, smooth running, and simple to use. I found that there was lots to do on it from checking my flight status and the weather to listening to music, playing games, and more. Other airlines should definitely take notes!
Food: 4/6 The food aboard the aircraft was just a bit above average. The food and drink models were fantastic, and the drinks had animations. However, I was only allowed THREE menu items which was quite disappointing for such a long range flight in business class.
Service: 5/6 The service aboard this flight was quite good! I found that the staff members had great roleplay skills and made great announcements. They were also quite amiable and friendly towards me when serving me food and/or drinks.
TOTAL SCORE: 27.5/40 South Pacific Airlines received a decent score of 27.5/40. I really enjoyed their fantastic food/drink models, as well as their fantastic IFE system. However, Prague was the massive downfall of this rating as it was not at all realistic to the real Prague.
