#223 Trout Stream - Friday 30 Oct 2026

Having checked out the Trout Stream the previous day, when I saw that the level was up a bit and it had a bit of colour, I decided to try for chub. As always the stream was challenging to fish with a lot of weed and reed growth, although it was starting to die off making it softer and easier to pull out of. As you will see this worked in my favour on a number of occasions. After a couple of really challenging sessions this outing restored my confidence somewhat.
