A day in a rice-field town in Aichi, Japan. No talking. Just the sounds of an ordinary day. Rice balls, an old cat, and a walk in the morning and evening. --- Today's meal Maze Onigiri (mixed rice balls) — four kinds Ume (pickled plum), katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes), shio-kombu (salted kelp), and mentsuyu mayo (noodle soup base mixed with mayonnaise). Everything is mixed into the warm rice, not placed inside as a filling. Shiso leaves and umeboshi are chopped fine first. Shape the rice into triangles using plastic wrap. Miso Soup Dashi stock, miso, okra, wakame seaweed, and spring onion. Served with rakkyo (pickled shallots), takuan (pickled daikon), and kimchi. The kids had instant curry. --- About this channel A care worker on night shifts. A father of three daughters. Living in a rice-field town in Aichi, Japan. The kids stay off camera. We barely speak. This is just our days. New video every 2-3 days. --- Music: YouTube Audio Library #Japan #RuralJapan #JapaneseFood #Onigiri #Cat #SlowLiving #ASMR
