Quick and Easy Crockpot Beef Stew Some days you just want to put dinner in the crockpot and forget about it until it’s time to eat. This beef stew is about as easy as it gets. Stew meat, potatoes, carrots, a couple of seasoning packets, and a whole stick of garlic and herb butter. No browning the meat first, either! Ingredients 2 pounds beef stew meat 1 bag baby potatoes, cut into bite-size pieces 1 bag baby carrots 1 stick garlic and herb butter 2 teaspoons minced garlic Salt and pepper, to taste A good sprinkle of Kinder’s seasoning blend 1 package onion soup mix 1 package gravy mix 1 cup beef broth Place your stew meat, cut-up baby potatoes, and baby carrots in the bottom of your crockpot. Add the minced garlic, salt, pepper, and a good sprinkle of Kinder’s seasoning blend. Use as much or as little seasoning as you like. Sprinkle the onion soup mix over everything and give it a good stir. In a separate bowl, mix the gravy packet with 1 cup of beef broth until combined. Pour that mixture over the meat and vegetables. Now take your whole stick of garlic and herb butter and place it right on top. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours, until the beef is tender and the potatoes and carrots are cooked through. That’s it! A good, hearty crockpot dinner without a lot of fuss. When you were growing up, did your family make beef stew thick with gravy or more like a soup with plenty of broth? And what did you always have on the side to go with it? #HangingWithHeidi
