ਇਹ ਕਥਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ 651 ਤੋਂ 653 ਤੱਕ ਦੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਕਰਦੀ ਐ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਅੰਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਗ ਸੋਰਠਿ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਵਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਉੜੀਆਂ 23 ਤੋਂ 26 ਆਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ, ਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਦਰਜ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਮਰਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਸਲੋਕ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਅਗਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੰਘਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਐ। ਫੇਰ ਹਉਮੈ ਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਭਾਉ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੜਦਾ ਜਗਤ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਸਮਝਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਐ। ਅਗਲੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਐ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦਾ ਗੇੜ ਮੁੱਕਦਾ ਐ। ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਲਈ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਐ, ਤੇ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਐ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਰੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਐ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸਾਜ਼ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਐ। ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਦੇ ਕਪਟ, ਲੋਭ ਤੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਐ। ਫੇਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਐ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਤੀਰਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਨ੍ਹਾ ਕੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ। This Punjabi Gurbani Katha explains Ang 651–653 of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
