These Young Grizzlies Have A LOT to Prove | iTalkHoops

The Memphis Grizzlies have turned over their roster, and some of the players who were just considered young prospects suddenly find themselves becoming the veterans. Jaylen Wells, Scotty Pippen Jr., GG Jackson and Cam Spencer are still developing, still fighting for roles and, in some cases, still trying to earn their first major NBA contract. But now they're also being asked to help establish the culture for the next generation of Grizzlies. In this video, I break down what all four said at Grizzlies Media Day. Jaylen Wells discusses becoming more vocal, expanding his game and being a "star in my role." Scotty Pippen Jr. talks about becoming one of the longest-tenured Grizzlies and why he believes this could be the best defensive team he's played on in Memphis. GG Jackson opens up about his growth, professionalism and lessons he learned from Derrick Rose. And Cam Spencer explains why the players inside the locker room aren't thinking "rebuild." They're thinking win now. Ready or not, these guys aren't the kids anymore. Which of Wells, Pippen, GG and Spencer do you believe has the best chance of becoming a long-term part of the next great Grizzlies team? Let me know in the comments.
