11th Attack on Engr. Muhammad Ali Mirza, his own mistakes & Qaiser Ahmed Raja | Abbas Haidar

The recent attack on Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza outside his Quran & Sunnat Academy in Jhelum has left the public with more questions than answers. Although he escaped the incident unharmed, the reality of a broad-daylight assault poses a serious challenge to the credibility of our government and the influence of our religious scholars. This event forces us to look closely at the role of prominent public speakers like Qaiser Ahmed Raja and whether the current environment of debate is doing more harm than good. At the same time, a truly honest analysis requires us to look at the other side of the coin. While nothing justifies physical violence, we must address how Engineer Mirza’s own conduct and history of using provocative, sometimes foul language contributes to this volatile atmosphere. In today's Meri Rai, we break down the institutional failures of our state, while also calling for a higher standard of conduct from all parties involved to prevent such reckless escalations in the future.
