Everything Odin Did to Stop Ragnarök Caused It

In Norse mythology, Odin gave an eye at Mímir's well and hanged himself for nine nights on Yggdrasil to win the runes. From a seeress he learned how the world would end: Ragnarök, and his own death in the jaws of the wolf Fenrir. This is the full story of what he did with that knowledge, from the world made out of the giant Ymir to the binding of Fenrir and the death of Baldr, told from the Poetic Edda and the Prose Edda.
