This video contains two matches I had with the LV2 and LV1 Geymalk on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 650-700 cost support with multiple instant staggers, theoretically massive DPS alongside stun resistance while crouching. It suffers from poor mobility, poor stagger accumulation alongside having weapons that are kind of awkward and half-baked. I thought that this suit was always a little underwhelming, even more so now that Demeter exists at 650 cost, but it still feels amazing when you can drop your auto funnels then go into your ranged stunlock combos. I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary weapon at LV2 is a pair of hand beam guns with 367x8 power, 5.5 seconds cooldown, 80% heat, 17 seconds overheat, 1 second swap time, 405m range and 1%x8 stagger value. This has poor stagger value, but it fires a high powered instant stagger piercing beam. The issue is, against some enemies or without proper aim, some of the beams can miss.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2730 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time and standard modifiers. Although the suit lacks balancers, it is actually relatively usable due to the downswing having good reach.
Its first sub weapon is a pair of shoulder beam cannons with 1575x2 power, 80% heat, 5.5 seconds cooldown, 17 seconds overheat, 1 second swap time, 500m range and 10%x2 stagger value. These stop to fire, but they deal really great damage and instant stagger.
Its second sub weapon is an all-fire attack with 840x12 power, 100% heat, 2.5 seconds focus, 20 seconds overheat, 1 second swap time, 500m range and 5%x12 stagger value. This weapon is both stop to fire and charge, but benefits from dealing an absolutely ludicrous 10080 piercing damage beam with instant stagger. This is easily the highest burst damage option you have on the Geymalk but using it can be difficult. It fires in a spread pattern which means most of the shots will miss at longer ranges.
Its third sub weapon is a pair of arm grenade launchers with 367 power, 6 ammo, 10 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 300m range and 35% stagger value. This won't deal a huge amount of damage or anything, but it is your best option to accumulate stagger with, especially in self defence.
Its fourth sub weapon is a set of side lock funnels with 262x6x2 power, 55%x2 heat, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 22 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 300m range and 5%x6x2 stagger value. Although these have longer than average range for funnels, their damage is quite low. It is a much better idea to use your auto funnels if possible
Its fifth sub weapon is a pair of follow funnels with 1050x2 power, 70% heat, 1 second cooldown, 22 seconds overheat, 1 second swap time, 350m range and 20%x2 stagger value. Although these have high heat and don't stagger, their high damage makes them an ideal combo ender.
Its sixth sub weapon is a set of auto funnels with 400x30 power, 100% heat, 20 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 150m range and 0% stagger value. Using this weapon deploys your funnel container wherever you place the reticle, dealing damage to any enemies within 150m. They attack up to 30 times over the course of 10 seconds, meaning that they theoretically have 1200 DPS.
The LV2 Geymalk has 27000 HP, 27 ballistic defence, 32 beam defence and 20 melee defence. It actually isn't squishy, despite its appearance as a slow lumbering artillery support. It has LV1 Stabilization Device and LV2 Damage Control for defensive skills.
In terms of mobility it has 105 hovering speed, 190 boosting speed, 65 thrust and 57 turning speed. Its boosting speed isn't that bad, but it is really slow in other areas. It lacks Forced Injector as well.
It has a unique skill called LV1 Psycho Field. This activates at 30% HP. It reduces received ranged damage by 40%, extends enemy lock on time by 200%, reduces received stagger accumulation by 30% and blocks ranged instant staggers.
In conclusion, while I feel that the Geymalk can be pretty fun, it has way too many weaknesses to be truly viable. Disregarding how easy it is to stunlock if it isn't crouching, it suffers from weaknesses like trash mobility, really poor stagger accumulation and half-baked weapons. For the same cost, the Silver Bullet Suppressor is without a doubt superior, and even that is struggling against Demeter spam, so Geymalk is truly in the gutter in terms of viability. I think that it should get better damage scaling for its LV2 weapons, 50% heat for the follow funnels, 25%x2 stagger value for the follow funnels, 300x6x2 power for the side funnels, 2 seconds focus time for the all fire attack, LV2/LV3 Damage Control depending on MS level, 8 seconds reload time for the arm grenades, 125 hovering speed and 200 boosting speed. I really can't recommend using this suit if you want to win. Thanks for watching and I hope that you enjoyed it!
