When will artificial intelligence become a sentient being?

Ask us anything about AI is a Concordia Digital Strategy initiative in collaboration with the university’s Office of Research with the goal of fostering a community conversation about Artificial Intelligence (AI). The conversation is structured by crowdsourcing a curated series of questions from the community and producing video responses to these from our faculty researchers. In the fourth and final video, Concordia faculty researchers provide their responses to the question, “When will artificial intelligence become a sentient being?”
