It may stretch or tangle, but it never breaks. The idea travelled from an old Chinese tale of the Old Man of the Moon, who binds future partners with an unseen red cord. Dragons, meanwhile, are water spirits in Japanese tradition who rule clouds and rain, and a white dragon is regarded as an especially auspicious sign. This mix imagines a woman in an indigo kimono standing among the clouds, holding one end of a red thread, while a pale antlered dragon lowers his head to take the other. A new mix every day.
