Sanity – an original 1988 folk rock song from my 1991 cassette album Warm Embrace. A heartfelt indie rock song about holding onto mental clarity through the storm. The original version of this song was written in 1988 and ended up being the lead-off track of my 1991 cassette-only album, Warm Embrace. Needless to say, I am overjoyed to bring it back after so many years. This new version brings the song back with a music video created with Neural Frames in Berlin – an astronomer in a stone observatory atop a foggy cliff racing to map a once-a-century alignment as a storm shatters his lenses, until his artisan partner delivers a hand-polished mirror just in time. If you love original folk rock songs, heartfelt original music and dramatic indie songs about inner strength, I hope this one stays with you. All lyrics and music are my own unless otherwise noted. Thanks so much for watching and listening – feedback and constructive criticism are always appreciated.
