Waverly, NE City Council Meeting held on April 28, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the Community Meeting Hall 14130 Lancashire. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. The Council approved agreements for well projects: JEO for engineering services for the New Well Project for $118,000 and Sargent Drilling for additional test pumping on Test Well located at Existing Well Site #2. An agreement with Schemmer Assoc. for engineering on the intersection of N 148th St & Hwy 6 Road in an amount not to exceed $232,500 was also approved. The Council approved the purchase of Caselle hosted software and services for Financial Management and Utility Billing with one-time fee of $58,929 and an annual platform fee of $32,000, to be paid $29,464.50 at time of signing and the remainder infiscal year 2026-27. LSO Deputy Brownell reported on the dangers of lithium-ion batteries and their high combustibility rate. Routine agenda items approved included minutes, claims for payment, keno & sales tax reports, annual TIF report, and authorization of the Mayor to sign an agreement with Eakes Office Solutions for printing/copying services.
