A day whose purpose changed dramatically at 6.30 a.m. Heading out for a pub lunch with an old friend I found myself suddenly intent on making a video. Anxious not to carry excessive weight, I loaded some old, lighter equipment - a mistake, since I'd forgotten how to use it - hence some unusually poor footage in places. And the end product? A massive disappointment but - the gods just weren't with me.
