Hey Sizzle & Spice friends, it's Bridgette here. Welcome back to my Sizzle and Spice. YahMon! Today I'm showing you how to make tender, juicy jerk chicken right in a simple foil pan — no grill, no mess, and baby, the flavor does not lie. We're talking a full marinade with all the right spices — pimento, thyme, scallion, and that warm Scotch Bonnet heat. I’ll show you how I season it, seal in the juices in the foil pan, and broil it to that perfect char — time to char, no grill! This oven jerk chicken is perfect for Sunday dinner, family gatherings, or meal prep. Serve it with rice and peas, steamed veg and avocado like you see here. Clean & Season: Wash chicken, keep skin on. Season well with all seasonings + browning. Rub deep into meat. 2. Marinate: Overnight for best flavor (or cook right away). 3. Prep Pan: Place chicken in foil pan, tuck small pieces of butter between pieces. 4. Bake: Bake at 400°F for 30 mins. Remove, turn chicken, save pan juices in a saucepan. Return to oven until firm but tender (about 30 mins more). 5. Char: Broil at 500°F for 2-4 mins until charred on top. Watch closely. 6. Finish: Warm saved juices and pour over chicken. Serve with rice and peas. Cook to 165°F internal. Tender, succulent & juicy - not fall-off-the-bone. If you enjoyed this, please like, comment, and share.
