When I arrived here at CP 502 in East Chicago, IN, I spotted the pair of IHB GP38-2's that I recently bought in HO scale crossing the NS into the yard. I hustled up the bridge and caught Arcelor Mittal 150, an SW-CAT switching a cut of empties. When he cleared, the IHB Geeps continued their journey into the yard behind me. Next, a mill SW1500 and GP15-1 popped out of the yard with coal loads to take into the plant.
The good power kept coming, next is NS 5072 (GP38-2 high hood) pulling B09's entire loaded train (B09's typical road power is a pair of 6 axle GE's). The lone Geep pulled the train easily across the diamonds into IHB's Michigan Av yard for B09 to take east on the Chicago Line in IN Tech near New Carlisle, IN.
And like always, ge just has to show up. The last 2 trains' power sucks, but I like the shot.
I would have filmed more of each train, but I couldn't feel my hands and I didn't think the bright red/slight blue color was very healthy :/
Enjoy!
