One of the major highlights of the festival is the traditional movement of six freshly cut pieces of wood by different age groups from a designated location to two different parts of the community. The celebration also features a candlelight procession, during which community members walk through their streets while singing traditional songs. As we explore this remarkable cultural event, we uncover the significance of its traditions and the importance of preserving these customs for future generations.
