AFTER 60 YEARS ABROAD, SHE FINALLY CAME HOME! 😱❤️ | The Grand Homecoming of an Okpameri Daughter in Lampese After spending over 60 years in the diaspora, Chief Mrs Abisola Emily Abodunde has finally returned to her roots in grand style! ❤️🇳🇬 Join me on this exciting journey to Lampese, Akoko-Edo Local Government Area, Edo State, as I document the memorable homecoming of an illustrious Okpameri daughter. My journey began at the Akoko-Edo Local Government Headquarters in Igarra, passing through Uneme Nekhua, Osi-Aiyegunle, Ekpesa, and Ibillo before arriving in Lampese. Along the way, I stopped at a local dog meat joint, popularly known as 404, where I enjoyed the local experience and had an interesting conversation with the seller. Lampese is an ancient Okpameri-speaking community in the northernmost part of Edo State, rich in history, culture, and tradition. During her homecoming, Chief Mrs Abisola Emily Abodunde paid a royal visit to the Okpahin of Lampese, His Royal Highness, Oba Ojo Maliki. She was accompanied by the respected Oselo of Okpameri, Mr Victor Arogunyo, and Da Mayor Alfred of Lampese. This documentary captures more than a homecoming. It tells a story of identity, heritage, belonging, and the special connection between a daughter and her ancestral home. 📍 Location: Lampese, Akoko-Edo LGA, Edo State, Nigeria.
