THE BANDIT QUEEN RIDES AGAIN

Welcome to the channel The Old West Theatre. Texas and the Indian Territory, the 1880s. Myra is a woman the frontier has never known what to do with — sharp-tongued, fearless, loving whomever she pleases and living off what she takes from others. She has tried to settle down in the small town of Greenview with her husband Blue Duck, a Cherokee outlaw, and her two children: a daughter fathered by the notorious Cole Younger, and a troubled son whose own father rode on the wrong side of the law. But the town's preacher, spurned when she turned away his advances, rallies the parishioners behind a petition demanding she leave within the week. She refuses. That night her house burns to the ground. With nothing left to hold her, the Bandit Queen rides back into Oklahoma — back to the outlaw legends who have always opened their doors to her: the James brothers, the Youngers, the Dalton boys, and the Cherokee fugitive Ned Christie. Cattle rustling turns to stagecoaches, stagecoaches turn to banks, and before long she's riding at the heart of the biggest robbery of her life, pursued by lawmen who have waited years to put her in irons. Between the gunsmoke and the getaways lies a harder question she has never been able to answer — whether a woman like her can ever protect the children she loves while living the only life she's ever truly known. 🎞️ Chapters / Timecodes: 00:00 – A Wild Woman in a Quiet Town 16:00 – The Preacher's Petition 32:00 – Fire in the Night 48:30 – Back to the Outlaw Legends 1:04:30 – The Biggest Job of Her Life 1:20:30 – The Price of Being a Legend ⚙️ Technical Information: The film has been digitally restored using modern tools to enhance image quality, color, and sound.
