Five years ago, after losing people I loved and rebuilding a life I barely recognized, I found pottery. What I didn't expect was that it would become my therapy, my meditation, and the one place I could finally exhale. Tonight I'm sitting in the courtyard of my community studio, and I want to talk about why finding your place of zen isn't optional anymore. In this video I'm sharing how pottery became my grounding practice after grief and major life changes, what kiln loading has to do with resetting your nervous system, and how to start identifying the place or practice that genuinely restores you, not just distracts you. If you haven't found your place yet, this is your nudge. Drop a comment below and tell me where you go to exhale. Subscribe if you want to come along for the next adventure, because I'm making videos every day from right here in the middle of my second chapter. 0:00 — Where do you find zen? 0:24 — How grief led me to pottery 1:04 — The studio as sanctuary 2:06 — The courtyard tonight 3:24 — The science of pottery glazes 4:56 — Loading the kilns 5:22 — Why it feels like Tetris 6:12 — Finding your own exhale place 7:49 — Reset, restore, celebrate
