I've made more money in the past couple of years than I ever have before. So why can I still find myself feeling like there isn't enough? That's what I'm thinking through in this video. I'm starting to realise that some of what I experience around money has very little to do with how much is actually sitting in my bank account. I grew up around financial instability, periods of having and not having, and that feeling of scarcity seems to have followed me into adulthood even as my own financial circumstances have changed. A recent visit home brought all of it back up. So this is a very in-the-middle-of-it conversation about money, family, financial safety, being the person who feels responsible for figuring things out, and my desire to create a completely different relationship with money than the one I inherited. Because I don't just want to make more money. I want to actually experience enoughness. And apparently, those are two very different things. If you're working on your own relationship with money, scarcity or financial safety, I'd genuinely love to hear where you are in that journey.
