A Stack Off the Greenville, a BNSF Coal Train, CSX 250 and 2026 Lead a Freight at Howell Wye

We start this video with what looks like former NS 203 coming off the Greenville line with a UP unit second. Last weekend's 203 also had a UP unit. I don't know the current symbols anymore. It's not really important to me. I just enjoy the trains. But this isn't the most interesting part of this video. It's coming :) We follow the UP unit into Inman yard then fly around for a bit to look at the endless line of colored rectangles as they come down the Greenville line and into the yard. Not super exciting I agree, but a large part of the commerce that railroads rely on. After a bit we land to save batteries, this is the end of the day so pretty much every one of my drone batteries are at less than 30%. I just happened to put one in the car charger so it had maybe 40% by the time I went to go get it. We take off again when the mid train DPU's arrive, just in case they are interesting, not so much today. While we're up and about we see a pair of CSX SD40-3's returning to the yard. They have to stop and wait at the signal for the stack to clear. The SD40-3's are in the 1700 series so I always refer to CSX 1701 as The Spirit of Enterprise. I haven't seen that one in the yard for a few months. These two will have to do for now. As the stack is clearing along comes another CSX freight, with a white nose. And what is it? Two of CSX's USA 250 special editions. I would loved to have seen all of them in NC but due to health issues I don't like to travel anymore. So two of the units came to me. A week or so ago we got two UP special editions, the D J Trump and Abraham Lincoln units. So yeah we're going to get down low with the drone and shoot all we can. With 30% battery left. I grab the one from the car charger just as the BNSF coal train we saw down at Jefferson street arrives. I have basically no time to get in the air and have no choice but to land when it gets to 17%. I barely caught the power on either end. But here it is. Enjoy the video!
