to the one who i cherish, I know our story didn't end the way we once thought it would. For a long time, I think I let that ending change the way I looked at everything that came before it. But something ending doesn't mean it meant nothing. You meant something to me. You still do. And if you ever read this, I don't want you to feel like you need to say anything back. This isn't me asking you to return. It isn't another attempt to change what happened. I just didn't want the last thing I carried from us to be heartbreak. I wanted some of it to be gratitude too. Maybe years from now, we'll barely recognize the people we were when we knew each other. Maybe we'll look back at all of this differently. I have no idea where life takes either of us from here. But wherever yours takes you, I hope you're happy. I hope you find the things you're looking for. And I hope, when you think about the time we shared, there's at least one memory that still makes you smile. I'll always be grateful that, for one small part of my life, I got to know you. I wouldn't erase it. Even knowing how it ends... I'd choose to remember you. Thank you for being here while you were. Isaac
