Church Lane Level Crossing, Staffordshire

Date Filmed: 28/03/2026 This quiet MCB+CCTV is situated approximately 3 quarters of a mile down the line from Stone Railway Station, where the Stone to Colwich line separates from the Stoke-on-Trent to Stafford line. This crossing is situated right next to St. Michael's Church, which can be heard through the video. Only Avanti West Coast services are seen on this line, with occasional track machine movements, carrying Class 390 trains from Manchester to London Euston. This crossing has been relatively local to me for quite some time, and I've known of it's existence since I was a little child.
