Master Tung's acupuncture points work through connective tissues. In this video we explore the Four Horses and how they relate to the chest and lungs. The Four Horses (88.17, 88.18, 88.19) are located on the stomach meridian and are some of Tung's most popular points. These acupuncture points also treat costal pain, liver related patterns, and respond well to acupressure. The superficial front line (SFL) is a fascial plane that includes the tibialis anterior, quads, rectus abdominis, sternalis muscle and chest fascia. The SFL is very similar to the stomach meridian. Points on the stomach meridian like stomach 36 and the Four Horses are used for treating lung disorders. As the SFL connects the tibialis anterior and quadriceps to the chest, we can understand how these points can have an effect on the lungs. Essentially, the fascial lines and other research in fascia and connective tissues, allows for an understanding of acupuncture anatomy. https://www.ihsociety.com/master-tung... #MasterTung #FourHorses #AcupunctureAnatomy
